…well, cobbing anyway.

Finally cranked up the mixer and started mucking about with some render. I knew I had a fair few soft spots and holes to fill, so made up a couple of batches of cob and started plugging holes.

I would later realise I should have plugged even more than this – I have a LOT of soft spots. 🙂

Also had a crack at installing the mounting plate for a power point. The sparkies had left me with a couple of options, one of which was these little plastic boxes usually hammered into holes cut in brick walls. I jigsawed out a suitable hole in a piece of the ever-present plywood, mounted that on a couple of stakes banged into the wall:
